MIss Alabama Prelim 3

Tonight was the conclusion of preliminary competition. Here's the update on your favorite contestants.

SCS - Talent & Rising Star
She wore a long sleeve deep purple costume and danced to the contemporary Christian song "My Redeemer Lives." She looked lovely in both talent and rising star.

Jaye - Talent & Rising Star
Jaye had a little blurp in her piece but recovered SUPER well. She was in OK spirits at visitation. Jaye wore a lovely red gown for rising star.

SBS - On Stage Question & Swimsuit
Her question was regarding legalizing gambling in Alabama, and she answered OK. She wore a lovely turquoise swimsuit and did fine.

Miss AU - On Stage Question & Swimsuit
Her question was "Is America coming out of the economic recession?" She also answered OK. Her swimsuit was a coral two piece, and she did fine.

Tomorrow, the top ten will re-compete in swimsuit, talent, and evening gown. There will be an intermission, and the top ten will be "interviewed" on stage.

June 15 - Mexican

Hollingsworths - cheesy chicken enchiladas
Chavers - seven layer dip

SCS - Marianne's friend
She competed in evening wear and wore a beautiful white sequin gown with gold and silver accents. Marianne, SC says "Hey!"

Jaye
She also competed in evening gown, and she walked not too fast and not too slow! It was juuuuuust right. :)

SBS
Talent - Wow! SBS did great! She worked the stage and sang very well! Her tan was a little darker, too, and it looked nice!
Rising Star - She wore the BEAUTIFUL green dress, but our eyes were on little Emily! Rising Star Emily is the eight year old daughter of friends Rachael (Twinkle Toes) & Chad Counselman. They are UM alum with us and were on our original green team for puzzle party. Emily was so cute!!

Miss AU -
Talent - She played piano with a track, but she was ahead of the music.
Rising Star - I was too busy talking about little Em to notice.

Our UM friend Kristin Oliver came up, so she is in some of the pictures. Our other friend is Shannon Locklear. She's another UM alum. The Rams are well represented in the crowd! Whoop! Whoop!
Talent - off

Opening number introduction - YES! She spoke at the PERFECT volume! :) Way to go!
