Moving Mission

As much as we hate to say it, it's time for us to move to Florence. You guys made Tuesday nights a blast and we will miss you all. Perhaps we'll still make it down to a football game or two (or three).

For those of you who will be in town this weekend, we could use your help loading our truck. The "Moving Party" will be this upcoming Sunday starting around 3 PM due to the game taking up Saturday, needing to drive to Decatur after we load the truck, and wanting to unload at our duplex on Monday. We would have loved to wait until later in the day, but we'll need to make a 3.5 hour drive as soon as we are done. We will provide dinner (pizza) and plenty of water/gatorade to anyone who wants to come!

If you've never been to the trailer, we can send you directions.

Thanks again for everything!

Ches & Amy

Prayer pager for Carrie

Friends,
Carrie and Jason Chavers have received a prayer pager from a ministry through AUMC. The number is 334-742-5216.
When you pray for them just dial the number ( I assume it will ring) and hang up. A page will go off for them to know that they are being lifted up. It will not show the number or have be to called back by them. Please send to your friends and family as well.

August 2 - Help the Larsons Move

The assistance of the "Tuesday Night Movers" has been requested once more! Instead of our usual game night festivities, we are helping the Larsons move.

Dinner will be on your own this week, though you can still bring it with you to eat. It shouldn't take too long to pack the boxes, so we'll still get to play games/chat at some point during the evening.

We'll meet at the Larsons at the usual time. Let us know if you will be able to come and if you can bring a folding table and/or folding chairs. Hope to see you there!

We decided last night to push back pasta night until February, so I thought that we'd celebrate Robert Burns Day (famous Scottish poet), which is January 25.

Typically, this celebration officially requires haggis, but since I'm not really a fan, why don't we just bring something that rhymes?
