Miss Alabama - Nite 2

Well, the competition got a little stiffer last nite. Jaye competed in swimsuit, and she's in a tough group! She looked good, but the contestant right before her won the preliminary award for swimsuit. The good news is that the jello and chicken paid off! Jaye also had her on stage question last nite. Her question was "Should judges be elected or appointed?" Her answer was something to the extent that if you choose good elected officials as your leaders, then you can trust their judgement for appointing judges. Tonite, Jaye competes in evening gown.

Jaye was VERY pleased with her community service interview! Jaye was so happy she got to talk about her platform (character) and how to implement it into schools in an inexpensive manner. She also felt good about her Autauga County school interview. Thanks for the prayers!

Miss UM, Kylie, is also looking good on stage. Talent was last night, and while she did not play her trumpet perfectly, I would have given her a 7. That's pretty good! Tonite, she will be making history as the first Miss UM to wear a two piece swimsuit at Miss Alabama!!!!!! We alum are PUMPED!!!

Miss AU, Kimberly, competed in evening gown last night, and she looked lovely. She's going to twirl batons tonite, and I'm excited! I think she's good and entertaining! There's another good baton twirler in her group though that is also good. I think a little healthy competition is exciting!

I've attached pics of Jaye, Kylie, and Kimberly. Enjoy!
